This is a very nicely preserved - ie. I deem issued but hardly worn ie. 'virtually mint!' - example of a: 'Treuedienst Ehrenzeichen 1. Klasse' (or: golden-class, loyal-service medal as was issued for 40 years of loyal service) being a nicely preserved and as more often non-marked example that comes as issued and/or stored for decades. The medal is a stunning piece that truly retains all of its very shiny- and/or bright golden-coloured finish: it also retains most (ie. all!) of its so-called: 'hochpolierte Kanten' (or: polished sides) and has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished. It comes mounted onto its corn-flower-blue-coloured ribbon which retains its copper-toned clasp as was intended for easy tunic-attachment. The medal has most certainly never been cleaned but does show a tiny enamel-chipped-area (visible in the top of the black-coloured enamelled swastika-area as can be noticed on the pictures). Still an attractive bright golden-toned loyal-service medal first-class that is priced according to its minimally damaged condition!
