Single, WH (Heeres) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard as was piped in the bright-pink branchcolour as was intended for a: 'Leutnant des Panzer-Rgts. 5'
This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single! - neatly 'cyphered', officers'-type shoulderboard having the (bright!) pink-coloured branchcolour as was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant des Panzer-Regiments 5' (or: junior-officer ie. lieutnant who served within the specific tank-regiment, numbered: '5') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem just moderately used ie. worn- and/or I deem carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The shoulderboard which is approximately 11,5 cms. sized in length and that is piped in the neat bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as to be expected shows a neat (bright golden-coloured, 'Buntmetall'-based and/or: larger-sized) so-called: '5'-numeral (ie. 'Ziffer') period-attached denoting that the strap was intended for a junior-officer who held the rank of: 'Leutnant' (ie. lieutnant). The device shows some regular age and/or minimal tarnish but is still very nicely preserved. The strap never had a tongue attached (it is a specimen of the 'sew-in'-type) and does show some minimal age-, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece - that came with a (field-grey-toned, pebbled-styled) tunic-button attached - was never before in collectors'-hands and was recently found as such. Simply an attractive 'Heeres', officers'-type shoulderstrap that belonged to a: 'Leutnant des Panzer-Regiments 5': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
