This is an attractive - and with certainty rarely encountered! - example of an early- (ie. pre-war-) period, WH (Heeres) 'Panzer'-officers-type breast-eagle of the so-called: 'M35'- (ie. 'M36'-) pattern as was specifically intended for usage on the black-coloured 'Panzer'-wrap-around'-tunics and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The eagle is executed in silver-coloured, fine-woven braid (ie. in the 'BeVo'-flat-wire-woven pattern) onto a black-coloured (and also linnen-based) background. The piece that was carefully period-folded and trimmed still shows some of the stitching-holes (ie. remains) with which it was once tunic-attached: it was carefully tunic-removed and does show some age, wear and/or staining. Simply a very attractive example that can naturally easily serve to restore any early-pattern, black-coloured 'Panzer'-wrap-around officers-type-tunic. I deem that this example is priced according to its unmistaken rarity and/or desirability!
