This is an attractive - clearly used- and/or carefully tunic-removed! - example of a Police- (ie. 'Polizei'-) related armbadge (ie. arm-eagle) being a typical woolen-based example that was specifically designed for usage by the various 'Gendarmerie'- (ie. police-) units and that was worn throughout the war. The piece is executed in bright-green-coloured linnen on a typical 'Polizei'-coloured- and/or woolen-based. The piece - that shows some minimal age, wear and/or staining - still shows some of its period stitching-holes and/or remains (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very nice example that is I deem accordingly priced!
