Pair of WH (Luftwaffe) 'cyphered', officers'-pattern shoulderboards as piped in the bright-green-coloured branchcolour as was intended for musicians- ie. band-leaders (or: 'Musikmeister im Offiziersrang')
This is a truly very attractive - and/or fully matching and with certainty very rarely encountered! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) neatly 'cyphered', officers'-pattern shoulderboards as piped in the bright-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by air-force musicians- ie. band-leaders (or: 'Musikmeister im Offiziersrang') and that comes in overall very nice- (I deem simply never issued- nor worn ie. still 'virtually mint'-), condition. The attractive shoulderboards - which are constructed from the silver- and bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured 'braid' and having the bright-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'underlays' - come in a stonemint (and still tied-together!) condition. The 'upperdecks' show the (obligatory) integrated 'stripes' of bright-red-coloured 'braid' as to be expected. The shoulderboards - which measure approximately 10,5 cms. in length each - show two identical (neatly bright-golden-toned- and/or matching-) so-called: 'Lyra'-cyphers period-attached (which both retain most of their golden-bronze toned finish) and were as such intended for an officer with the rank of a: 'Leutnant' (ie. lieutnant). The boards come with their typical officers'-type tongues attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and truly rarely encountered! - 'Luftwaffe'-related, officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that is not that often offered for sale. Only the first such rare shoulderboard-pair in this rank ie. branchcolour I ever had on offer!
