'Virtually mint- ie. unissued' pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards: 'Leutnant der Infanterie u. Mitglied des Maschinengewehr-Abtlgs. 7'

The truly attractive - and simply never used nor worn! - neatly 'cyphered' WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboard-pair is piped in the typical white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour: as such, the pair was intended for usage by a junior-officer holding the rank of a: 'Leutnant der Infanterie u. Mitglied des Maschinengewehr-Abteilungs 7' (ie. infantry-lieutnant who served within specific machine-gunners unit, numbered: '7'). The attractive pair was simply never used nor worn and comes in a truly 'virtually mint- ie. unissued', condition. The shoulderboards - which are constructed from the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured, 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like-) wool - come in an excellent condition overall and will be impossible to be upgraded (the pair is fully matching in all details as can be seen on the pictures). The somewhat 'sub-dued' appearance of the 'upperdecks' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected for a 'Heeres'-related shoulderboard-pair). The boards are just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age and/or storage for decades and do show some age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The neat boards - which measure approximately 11 cms. in length each - show a pair of (fully matching, larger-sized, bright-golden-toned, Gothic-styled and/or 'Buntmetall'-based) so-called: 'M'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern') and dito (equally-styled and smaller-sized) '7'-numerals period-attached denoting the officers'-rank ie. function of a: 'Leutnant der Infanterie u. Mitglied des Maschinengewehr-Abteilungs 7'. The boards come mounted onto their (smaller-sized) tongues (as can be seen on the pictures). This pair originated from an older shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a very attractive, 'Heeres'-related officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Leutnant der Infanterie u. Mitglied des Maschinengewehr-Abteilungs 7'!
