The neat - and most certainly desirable! - WH compass - that is having a 'regular-weight' ie. resin-based top - is still fully functional and is marked with the engraved makers'-designation 'Busch - Rathenow' as mentioned above. The compass shows as stated only moderate wear and/or age but is naturally still fully functional. This fairly 'high-quality'-produced piece was most probably issued in the the early- (ie. pre-) war-years but was most certainly used throughout the WWII. The piece was only moderately used and does show as stated above some age and/or moderate wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece came stored in its specific, black-coloured- and genuine leather-based pouch (that also retains its period carrying-strap and dito black-coloured 'snaps'). The etui is totally void on any marking nor dry-stamp as more often encountered (as can be seen on the pictures). Of course, did I price this attractive example according to its overall nice and just moderately used condition!
