Pair of (early- ie. rounded-styled) WH (Heeres) NCO- (ie. 'M40'-) pattern shoulderstraps (being a so-called: 'privately-purchased'-pair): 'Feldwebel u. Pair of (early- ie. rounded-styled) WH (Heeres) NCO- (ie. 'M40'-) pattern shoulderstraps (being a so-called: 'privately-purchased'-pair): 'Feldwebel u. Offiziers-Anwärter des Infanterie-Rgts. 46'

This is a neat - and/or fully matching! - pair of (early- ie. rounded-styled), 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) NCO- (ie. 'M40'-) pattern shoulderstraps as piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and/or clearly worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel u. Offiziers-Anwärter des Infanterie-Regiments 46' (or: sergeant and officers'-candidate who served within the infantry-regiment numbered: '46') and that comes in an overall nice (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The straps are I deem only moderately worn and do show some moderate wear, age and/or minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps have the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or woolen-type piping attached and measure approximately 10,7 cms. in length each. The pieces show the ('standard'- ie. regular-) type, bright-silver-coloured, NCO-braid and two (identical- and I deem zinc-based-) pips period-attached and come mounted onto their functional (somewhat smaller-sized) tongues as to be expected. Next to this, they show two pairs of (also identical- and zinc-based) '4'- and/or: '6'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') and a pair of (typical) so-called: 'Offiziersanwärter-Laschen' (or: slip-ons) period-attached. The straps - which were in my opinion privately-purchased and originated from a tailor-shop - were recently uncovered in Germany and were never before part of any collection: they show some minimal damage on the button-holes (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive Heeres, 'privately-purchased', WH-'Infanterie'-related shoulderstrap-pair that is with certainty accordingly priced!
