This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily found! - pair of WH (Luftwaffe) officers'-type shoulderboards (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Offiziere der Luftwaffe') as executed (ie. piped) in the golden- ie. somewhat orange-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured- and/or: smooth-type- ie. 'moleskin'-type wool, as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Major der Flieger-o. Fallschirmjäger-Truppen' (or: major who served within the pilot- or paratrooper-branch) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem just minimally used- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The pair measures approximately 10,2 cms. in length and shows the (typical) somewhat shiny, silver-toned 'upperdecks'. The pair never had any cyphers nor pips attached and comes mounted onto its smaller-sized, officers'-type tongues (as can be seen on the pictures). This pair originated from a private-household in Germany where it was recently found together with the neat pair of collar-tabs I offer under number 69004: both insignia-sets belonged to the same (unidentified) 'Major der Flieger-o. Fallschirmjäger-Truppen' who wore these pieces and stored them for decades. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a very attractive and (fairly high-ranked!) pair of LW officers'-type shoulderboards for a justified price!
