Pair of WH (Heeres) early- (ie. mid-) war-period (ie. 'M41- o. M43'-pattern) NCO-type shoulderstraps: 'Uffz. der Veterinär-Trpn. o. Generalsstabes'

The truly attractive - and actually very scarcely seen! - early- (ie. mid-) war-period (ie. 'M41- o. M43'-pattern), WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps have the (typical) field-grey-coloured- and/or: woolen-based 'upperdecks'. The pair shows the desirable, bright-purple-red- (ie. 'karmesinroter'-) coloured (and desirable silk-like-type-pattern!) branchcolour ie. piping attached and were as such intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier der Veterinär-Truppen o. Generalsstabes' (or: NCO ie. junior-sergeant who served within an army veterinarian- or staff-unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The straps measure approximately 12,4 cms. in length and come naturally mounted onto their original tongues. The straps are (I deem) hardly worn and do show some minimal age, wear and/or staining but have, nevertheless, been nicely preserved over the years (as can be seen on the pictures). The pair shows the ('standard-issue'-pattern and bluish-grey-toned- ie. sub-dued) NCO-braid period-attached and was with certainly always together and was worn as such as a pair. It should be noted that the bright-purple-red- (ie. 'karmesin-roter'-) coloured branchcolour ranks amongst the rarest branchcolours as used within the: 'Deutsche Wehrmacht'. In any case a very attractive and/or early- (ie. mid-) war-period- and/or: 'Heeres'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for an: 'Unteroffizier der Veterinär-Truppen o. Generalsstabes': only the second such rarely found 'M41- o. M43'-pattern pair in this particular rank I ever had on offer!
