Pair of WH (Heeres) 'M40 o. M43'-pattern NCO-type shoulderstraps: 'Unteroffizier eines Infanterie-Rgts.'
This is a truly very attractive - and nowadays not that easily found and/or matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40 o. M43'-pattern NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') having the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for an: 'Unteroffizier eines Infanterie-Regiments' (or: NCO ie. junior-sergeant who served within an infantry-unit or regiment) and that comes in overall very nice- (I deem just moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The neat straps - which are both approximately 11,5 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern' and/or: field-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and desirable 'silk-like'-pattern piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps have the bluish-grey-coloured (ie. truly sub-dued and 'standard-issue'-pattern) NCO-braid attached (which diiffers a bit in colour on both straps) denoting the rank ie. function of: 'Unteroffizier der Infanterie-Truppen'. The pair - that was recently found as such at a German private-household - comes mounted onto its original tongues and does just show some minimal age-, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and fairly early- (ie. mid-) war-period - 'Heeres' NCO-type, shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Unteroffizier eines Infanterie-Regiments': I deem that I have priced this attractive pair, accordingly!
