This is an attractive - and truly very detailed! - smaller-sized (bright) silverish-coloured- and typical alumnium-based, (political-style) visor- (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) cap-eagle being a detailed example that is neatly: 'RzM - M1/17' marked on its back and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem hardly worn- ie. still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. These cap-eagles were intended for usage on the visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen') of one of the national-socialistic- (ie. party related-) organisations. The eagle has truly great pronounced detail and naturally retains all three, copper-toned pins ie. prongs in place (which were I deem never bent and which are of course still functional). On its back, the eagle is nicely marked with the makers'-designation: 'RzM - M1/17' as stated above. The piece - which is left-facing and that is having an approximate wing-span of 3,8 cms. - has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished: it is just a tiny bit tarnished caused by decades of storgae (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive and detailed 'party-style' visor-cap eagle: it will be very hard to upgrade this attractive, example!
