Luxuriously-styled, so-called: DLV (ie. 'Deutscher Luftsport Verband') miniature membership lapel-pin (ie. 'Mitgliedsabzeichen für den Zivilanzug') being a neatly maker- (ie. 'W. Deumer'-) marked example
This is a very attractive - and actually very unusally found! - neatly enamelled and truly luxuriously-styled, so-called: DLV (ie. 'Deutscher Luftsport Verband') miniature membership lapel-pin (ie. 'Mitgliedsabzeichen für den Zivilanzug') being a neatly maker- (ie. 'W. Deumer'-) marked example that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit I deem minimally used- ie. most certainly worn- and/or used-), condition. The tiny piece - which is executed in bright-silver-toned metal (ie. 'Buntmetall') and that also shows a: 'Ges.Gesch.'-patent-pending-designation - has an approximate 'wingspan' of only 2,4 cms. and comes mounted onto its still functional buttonhole-set-up. It retains a fully undamaged enamelled surfaced and shows a clearly present makers'-designation on its back that reads: 'W. Deumer' (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive (and I deem early- ie. pre-war-period!) 'Mitgliedsabzeichen für den Zivilanzug' that belonged to an official who served within the predecessor of the German Luftwaffe being the: 'Deutscher Luftsport Verband'!
