Pair of WH (Heeres) 'cyphered' officers'-type shoulderboards: 'Hauptmann des Jäger-Regiments 24'

The attractive - and I deem just moderately used and/or worn and/or carefully tunic-removed! - WH (Heeres) pair is piped in the typical darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured branchcolour: as such, the pair was intended for usage by an army-officer holding the rank of a: 'Hauptmann des Jäger-Regiments 24' (ie. captain who served within the army 'Jäger'-regiment, numbered: '24'). The attractive pair was most certainly issued and worn as such but comes, nevertheless, in an overall nicely preserved and/or fully untouched, condition. The shoulderboards - which are constructed from the darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured, 'smooth-type' (ie. moleskin-like-) wool - come in a nice condition overall (the pair is fully matching as can be seen on the pictures). The somewhat 'sub-dued' appearance of the 'upperdecks' is fully present and/or preserved (something that is to be expected for a 'Heeres'-related shoulderboard-pair). The boards are just a tiny bit 'tarnished' by normal age and/or storage for decades and do show some age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The neat boards - that measure approximately 10,7 cms. in length each - show two matching pairs of the (neat golden-toned, smaller-sized and zinc-based) so-called: '2'- and/or: '4'-numerals (ie. cyphers or 'Ziffern') and four (tarnished-golden-toned, regular-sized and also zinc-based) pips period-attached denoting the officers'-rank ie. function of a: 'Hauptmann des Jäger-Regiments 24'. The straps come mounted onto their (typical officers'-type) tongues attached. This pair originated from an older 'Jäger u. Gebirgjäger'-related shoulderstrap ie. board-collection that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply an attractive, 'Heeres'-related officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Hauptmann des Jäger-Regiments 24'!
