Single, WH (Heeres) officers'-type, 'cyphered' shoulderboard: 'Oberstleutnant u. Kriegs- o. Oberfeldrichter des Heeres'

This is an attractive - regrettably single but nevertheless rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres) officers'-type, neatly 'cyphered' shoulderboard as piped in the rarely seen darker-purple- (ie. 'bordeaux-roter'-) coloured branchcolour that was intended for - and most certainly worn as such by! - an: 'Oberstleutnant u. Kriegs- o. Oberfeldrichter des Heeres' (ie.: judicial officer ie. field-judge with the comparable army-rank of lieutnant-colonel) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly issued, worn and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The board - that measures only 9,5 cms. in length - has the silver-greyish-coloured- (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued'-) so-called: 'upperdeck' and shows a neat (golden-bronze-toned) 'sword'-cypher (ie. 'Ziffer') and dito (equally-styled and regular-sized) pip period-attached denoting the officers'-rank of: 'Oberstleutnant u. Kriegs- o. Oberfeldrichter'. Both devices are just a tiny bit tarnished from normal age and/or storage for decades but are very pronounced and detailed (as can be seen on the pictures). The board never had a tongue attached (it was most certainly used as a board of the 'sew-in'-pattern) and does show some obvious wear, age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). This attractive - and truly rarely encountered! - shoulderboard was recently found at a private-household and came as such straight from the family who kept and stored this item for decades. Simply an attractive - and with certainty very desirable! - neatly 'cyphered' shoulderboard as executed in one of the most rarely encountered branchcolours of the 'Deutsche Wehrmacht': I deem that I have priced this rare and interesting board according to its obvious rarity and/or desirabilty!
