'NS-Altherrenbund der Dtsch. Studenten'-membership-badge (ie. 'Mitgliedsabzeichen') showing the makers'-designation: 'RzM' and/or: 'M1/63'

This particular enamelled - and actually smaller-sized- ie. having an approximate diameter of only 1,7 cms.! - 'NS-Altherrenbund der Dtsch. Studenten'-membership-badge (ie. 'Mitgliedsabzeichen') was intended to signify membership within the German Former Students-Association (or: in German-language: 'NS-Altherrenbund der Deutschen Studenten'). The example on offer here concerns a (smaller-sized!) version as can be seen on the pictures. The badge comes in an overall nice and only moderately used- ie. worn, condition: the enamelled surface shows some minimal scratches and usage-marks but has no enamel damage whatsoever. The badge is nicely: 'RzM - M1/63'-marked on its back (that shows some staining ie. corrosion) and comes mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). A similar example is also figured in the 'Heering-Hüsken'-lapel-pin-catalogue, wherein it is given a unique reference-number (9740A) and wherein it is given an estimated value of 95 Eu. Simply an attractive - and actually not that commonly encountered! - neatly enamelled and smaller-sized(!) 'NS-Altherrenbund der Dtsch. Studenten'-membership-badge!
