Pair of RAD (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') officers'-type shoulderboards (being of the 2nd pattern as was used in the period between 1936-41): 'RAD-Oberstarbeitsführer'
This is an attractive - fully matching and rarely found! - pair of typical RAD (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') (high-ranked!) officers'-type shoulderboards (being of the second pattern as was used by 'höhere Führer' in the period between 1936-41) as was intended for usage by a: 'RAD-Oberstarbeitsführer' (which rank is comparable with the army-equivalent of an: 'Oberstleutnant' or: full-colonel) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- and/or most certainly once tunic-attached-), condition. The neat schoulderstraps have the typical, bright-silver- (and interwoven) black-coloured 'upperdecks' and come mounted onto their black-coloured (and typical velvet-based) 'underlays' (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps measure approximately 10,2 cms. in length each and show two (bright-golden, 'Buntmetall'-based, regular-sized and/or minimally tarnished) pips period-attached (denoting the officers-rank of a: 'RAD-Oberstarbeitsführer'). The pair comes mounted onto its (typial smaller-sized and equally velvet-based) tongues shows - as stated above - only minimal wear and/or age but is void of any damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a great occasion to acquire a desirable (andactually hard to find!) 'Reichsarbeitsdienst'-related, high-ranked, officers'-pattern type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'RAD-Oberstarbeitsführer'!
