'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Schwarz' being a non-maker-marked example by the: 'Klein & Quenzer'-company that came stored its period pouch
The 'Verwundeten-Abzeichen in Schwarz' (or: black-class wound-badge) on offer here shows simply no wear nor age and comes in a truly 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' condition: it is void of any age and retains all of its original, black-coloured- (ie. somewhat 'shiny'- ie. satin-like-) finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The wound-badge - that came with its period piece of thin-shaped 'wrapping-paper' as issued - is as stated above an (I deem somewhat later-war-period) and non-maker-marked example that was produced by the (desirable!) 'Klein & Quenzer'-company as was based in the town of Oberstein. Of course, are the (regular- ie. thin-shaped) pin and/or (typical) catch (-set-up) fully functional and of course present. This piece has never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal dust caused by years of storage only. The (scarcely seen!) 'Zellstoff'-based pouch - that shows the makers'-designation: 'Klein & Quenzer - Oberstein' printed on its back - comes also in a fully functional- and of course complete condition but does show some minimal (storage)age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The set was recently found at a German private-household and was never before in collectors'-hands. Simply a very attractive - and fully matching! - WB-set that is impossible to be upgraded and that is accordingly priced!
