Single, later-war period- (ie.: 'M44'-pattern-) 'simplified', WH (Heeres) EM-type shoulderstrap: 'Soldat eines Sanitäts-Abtlgs.'
The neat later-war period- (ie. so-called: 'M44'-pattern-) 'simplified', WH (Heeres) 'Sanitäter'-related shoulderstrap - which is piped in the neat darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour - measures approximately 11 cms. in length and has the neat darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured- (and/or: 'silk-like'-type-) piping attached (as is more often encountered with these later-war-period straps). The strap - which was intended for usage by a: 'Soldat eines Sanitäts-Abteilungs' (or: simple soldier ie. medical-orderly) is constructed following the typical '1944 cloth-minimising production-manner' using different shades of wool and/or material. It comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue. It should be noted that all 'M44'-style, EM-type straps are actually quite hard to encounter and can easily be graded 'scarce': even more so when they are piped in the scarcely-seen darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour!
