'Variant'-pattern armband: 'Deutscher Volkssturm - Wehrmacht'
This is an attractive - 'variant'-pattern and nowadays not that often seen! - example of a (typical) printed- and/or later-war-period, so-called: 'Deutscher Volkssturm'-armband (ie. 'Armbinde') being an example that is executed in slightly 'thicker-styled', linnen-based and greyish-toned cloth and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem hardly used- nor worn-), condition. The neat armband - which saw usage by the last-ditch 'Wehrmacht'-troops of 1944/1945 - is executed on typical printed (and somewhat course-like) greyish-toned linnen and (somewhat crudely) assembled ie. stitched-together (as can be seen on the pictures). The armband measures approximately 35 x 6 cms. and shows very bright and vivid colours: it just shows some minimal age only (ie. some wrinkles and minimal staining is noticable as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a nice opportunity to acquire a minimally used example of this scarcely seen 'variant-pattern'- and/or later-war-period VS-armband for a justified price!
