Pair of WH (Heeres) 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps: 'Uffz. des Wehrersatzdienstelle im Wehrkreises XII'
This is a truly very attractive - fully matching and actually quite rarely encountered! - pair of early- (ie. pre-war-) period- (ie. 'M36 o. M40'-pattern- and/or pointed-styled), WH (Heeres) 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps being of the generic-model without having any piping as was intended for - and most certainly worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier des Wehrersatzdienstelle im Wehrkreises XII' (or: army-NCO ie. junior-sergeant who was part of the recruitment-troops within the area of 'Wehrkreis XII', being a larger area situated in various provinces and having its headquarters situated in the town of Wiesbaden) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit issued ie. moderately worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps - which do show some regular age ie. wear and/or minimal staining caused by moderate usage and/or wear - come as stated above in an overall very nice, albeit moderately used and/or worn condition but are void of any damage whatsoever. The straps are executed in the darker-green coloured- (and/or: smooth-type wool) and have of course no piping attached (they are of the generic, pointed- ie. 'M36 o. M40'-pattern). The shoulderstraps - which come mounted onto their functional tongues attached - measure approximately 11,7 cms. in length each. The straps show the neat Roman-styled- and neat machine-embroidered (Roman-styled) 'XII'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') which are executed in bright-orange- ie. 'orangeroter'-coloured so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' as to be expected, denoting the NCOs rank ie. function of: 'Unteroffizier des Wehrersatzdienstelle im Wehrkreises XII'. The straps show the standard-type, silverish-grey-coloured NCO-braid attached denoting the NCOs rank of: 'Unteroffizier'. I deem that I have priced this very attractive 'Unteroffizier des Wehrersatzdienstelle im Wehrkreises XII'-shoulderstrap-pair according to its evident desirability and/or comparative rarity!
