First pattern: 'Mitgliedsabzeichen Deutsches Jungvolk in der HJ' )
The attractive - and truly worn! - youth-related membership-lapel-pin (ie. 'Mitgliedsabzeichen') shows some regular wear, age and/or minimal staining but has a totally undamaged- and/or neatly enamelled (and totally undamaged!) surface. It has never been cleaned and retains a really attractive- and only minimally tarnished age-patina. The neat pin - which comes mounted onto its functional and fully unaltered pin-/catch set-up - is also figured in the Heering-Hüsken 'Abzeichen'-catalogue wherein it is given a unique reference-number (9269A). The piece is a neat example of the 1st pattern: something that is easily recognisable due to the fact that it depicts the text: 'D.J.' (instead of: 'D.J.V.' as can be noticed on DJ-badges of the second pattern). The pin is (unusually!) marked with an RzM-designation on its back but is void of a patent-pending- (ie. 'Ges.Gesch.' -) designation (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is tiny bit smaller-sized than normally encountered and has an approximate diameter of only 2,2 cms. (as can be noticed on the pictures). I deem that this attractive - and early-period! - DJ-lapel-pin of the first-pattern is with certainty accordingly priced!
