The attractive - early-period- and actually scarcely encountered! - bronze-toned combined SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen'-) ie. N.S.D.A.P.-related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is (I deem) executed in copper-coloured and so-called tin-based- (ie. pot-) metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has presumably never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice, somewhat tarnished age-patina). The shield-shaped day-badge has a functional pin-/catch set-up and shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains most (ie. all) of its golden-bronze-coloured finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a detailed eagle-device and shield depicting the text: 'S.A.-Aufmarsch - Standarte 229 u. Kreisparteitag - Meschede - 7./8.10.1933'. Simply an attractive - and actually not often encountered! - early-period, SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen'-) ie. N.S.D.A.P.-related tinnie that is with certainty accordingly priced!
