Pair of WH (Heeres), 'M40 o. M43'-pattern NCO-type shoulderstraps: 'Uffz. eines Kav. o. Aufklärungs-Rgts.'
This is an attractive - and with certainty not that easily found and/or fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres), early- (ie. mid-) war-period, so-called: 'M40 o. M43'-pattern NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') having the desirable golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier eines Kavallerie o. Aufklärungs-Regiments' (or: NCO and junior-sergeant who served within a specific cavalry- ie. reconnaisance regiment or unit) and that comes in overall very nice- (albeit minimally used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which are both approximately 11,5 cms. sized in length - have the 'standard-pattern' and/or: field-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and have as stated above the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured and desirable 'silk-like'-pattern piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The shoulderstraps have the silver-coloured (ie. minimally sub-dued and typical 'standard-pattern') NCO-braid attached denoting the rank ie. function of a: an: 'Unteroffizier eines Kavallerie o. Aufklärungs-Regiments'. The pair - that came from my private shoulderstrap-collection - comes mounted onto its original tongues and does show some minimal age-, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive and fairly early- (ie. mid-) war-period, 'Heeres' NCO-type, shoulderstrap-pair that belonged to an: 'Unteroffizier eines Kav. o. Aufklärungs-Regiments': I deem that I have priced this truly very attractive pair, accordingly!
