Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of Waffen-SS officers'-pattern shoulderboards as piped in the golden-yellow-coloured branchcolour as intended for usage by an: 'SS-Obersturmführer' who served with the 'SS-Kavallerie- o. Aufklärungs-Truppen'
This is a truly attractive - and fully matching! - pair of Waffen-SS officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in the neat golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'SS-Obersturmführer' (or: lieutnant first-class) who served within the: 'SS-Kavallerie- o. Aufklärungs-Truppen' (or: cavalry- ie. reconnaisance-troops) and that comes in overall very nice- (albeit I deem just moderately used and/or worn, condition. The neat shoulderboards - which never had any tongues attached and that were most certainly intended for and used as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern - have the somewhat 'sub-dued'- (ie. greyish-silverish-coloured) 'upperdecks' and are executed in black-coloured wool as to be expected. The pair shows the desirable 'silk-like'-type, golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards - which measures approximately 11,4 cms. in length each - show a single (non-tarnished) golden-toned (somewhat smaller-sized and I deem 'Buntmetall'-based) pip each period-attached denoting the junior-officers'-rank of: 'SS-Obersturmführer' (ie. lieutnant first-class). The boards show some minimal age, usage and/or staining (and were clearly carefully tunic-removed). Simply a very attractive Waffen-SS officers'-type shoulderboard-pair that comes in a desirable branchcolour: I deem that I have priced this neat Waffen-SS-pattern, officers'-type 'Obersturmführer'-shoulderboard-pair, accordingly!
