This is a very nicely preserved - ie. I deem issued but never worn ie. 'virtually mint!' - example of a: 'Treuedienst Ehrenzeichen 1. Klasse' (or: golden-class, loyal-service medal as was issued for 40 years of loyal service) being a nicely preserved and clearly maker- (ie. '1' thus by: 'Deschler & Söhne'-) marked example that comes as issued and/or stored for decades. The medal is a stunning piece that truly retains all of its very shiny- and/or bright golden-coloured finish: it also retains most (ie. all!) of its so-called: 'hochpolierte Kanten' (or: polished sides) and has most certainly never been cleaned nor polished. It comes mounted onto its corn-flower-blue-coloured ribbon which retains its copper-toned clasp as was intended for easy tunic-attachment. The medal has most certainly never been cleaned and has truly immaculate- and/or undamaged black-coloured enamel. Simply a very attractive bright golden-toned loyal-service medal first-class that was produced by the 'Deschler'-company: hard to find a more attractive example for a more interesting price!
