This is a very attractive - and actually unusally found! - neatly enamelled and luxuriously-styled, somewhat smaller-sized so-called: DLV (ie. 'Deutscher Luftsport Verband') membership-badge (ie. 'Mitgliedsabzeichen') being a neatly maker-marked example that comes in a moderately used- ie. worn, condition. The piece - which is executed in bright-silver-toned metal (ie. 'Buntmetall') - has an approximate 'wingspan' of only 3,2 cms. and comes mounted onto its (period-attached) pin- ie. pin-catch-set-up that is of course still functional. It retains a fully undamaged enamelled surfaced and shows a clearly present (but hard to decypher) makers'-designation on its back (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive (and early- ie. pre-war-period!) DLV-membership-badge (ie. 'Mitgliedsabzeichen') that belonged to an official who served within the predecessor of the German Luftwaffe being the: 'Deutscher Luftsport Verband'!
