Neat - albeit regrettably single! - customs-related, neatly 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderboard (ie. 'Schulterstück des Reichsfinanzverwaltung- o. Zollgrenzschutz') being a board that was intended for usage by a: 'Zollsekretar'

This is a neat - albeit regrettably single! - customs-related and typically 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderboard (ie. 'Schulterstück des Reichsfinanzverwaltung- o. Zollgrenzschutz') being a board that was intended for usage by an official who held the rank of: 'Zollsekretar' (comparable with the NCO-rank of 'Oberfeldwebel' or: sergeant first-class) and that comes in a clearly used- and/or tunic-removed, condition. The shoulderboard - which is 'text-book' in all facets and that measures approximately 11 cms. in length - is executed in the typical, darker-green-coloured- and/or 'smooth-type' wool having the silverish-grey- and/or green-striped (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued'-) upperdeck: I deem that as such it was intended for usage on a 'regular front-used' tunic. The board comes mounted onto its (smaller-sized-) tongue and shows just some minimal age caused by decades of storage and wear (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a neat (golden-toned and/or 'Buntmetall'-based): 'RFV'-cypher (ie. Ziffer) and two (equally styled) pips attached (denoting the NCO-rank of: 'Zollsekretar'). All three devices are just minimally tarnished but are still very nice and/or pronounced (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive 'Zoll'-related shoulderboard that is actually not that often encountered: I deem that I have priced this neat item accordingly!
