Neat - and actually not that easily found! - detailed and nicely hand-embroidered, officers'-pattern RAD (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') cap-badge that was specifically intended for usage on the RAD-caps (aka: 'Kaffeebohnen')

This is an attractive - and actually not that easily found! - detailed and nicely hand-embroidered, officers'-pattern RAD (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') cap-badge that was specifically intended for usage on the officers'-pattern RAD-caps (aka: 'Kaffeebohnen') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit most certainly worn- ie. once-cap-attached- and/or carefully cap-removed-), condition. The piece is executed in multi-coloured 'braid' and is a nice example of the craftmenship employed in the days. The piece comes still period-mounted ie. hand-stitched onto a brownish-coloured, woolen-based background and was carefully cap-removed: it shows a beige-toned- and linnen-based backing attached (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive and fairly luxuriously-styled, officers'-pattern RAD (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') cap-badge that is accordingly priced!
