This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - so-called: 'Sicherheits- u. Hilfsdienst'- (ie. 'SHD'-) armbadge (ie. 'Ärmelabzeichen') as was executed in neat 'BeVo'-weave pattern that was intended for an SHD-member who served within the: 'Feuerlöschdienst' (or: fire-extinction-service) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The badge - which depicts a white-coloured and Gothic-styled: 'F'-character on a bright-red-coloured background - was introduced in late 1941 and was one of a series of (at least) six different such SHD-speciality- ie. trade-badges. These 'specialist'-badges were worn on the left upper-arm. The piece on offer here comes in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'- (and of course fully unconfectioned!) condition: it just shows some minimal storage-age (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive SHD-arm-badge that was used by one of the more unknown TR-organisations!
