Superb - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) early- (ie. pre-) war-period (ie. 'M-36 o. M40'-) pattern', 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps as was specifically intended for a: 'Feldwebel und Mitglied der (Art.) This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty quite rarely encountered! - pair of early- (ie. pre-) war-period (ie. 'M-36 o. M40'-) pattern', neatly 'cyphered' (and rounded-style) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and clearly worn by! - a: 'Feldwebel und Mitglied der (Artillerie) Waffenschule 2' (or: artillery-sergeant who served within the army artillery-related, weaponry-school numbered '2') and that comes in an overall nice- (and I deem just moderately used ie. worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' are textbook in all facets. They show the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured- and woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps which measure approximately 13 cms. in length each come of course mounted into their functional tongues and were most certainly worn and used as such. Next to the commonly seen (typical silver-toned) NCO-braid does the straps show a matching pair of the neat (I deem 'Buntmetall'-based- and/or: 'Gothic'-styled) so-called: 'WS'-cyphers (ie. 'Ziffern'), two smaller-sized '2'-numerals and two (also equally 'Buntmetall'-based) pips attached denoting the NCOs rank of: 'Feldwebel und Mitglied der (Artillerie) Waffenschule 2'. The straps show - as stated above - some moderate usage ie. wear (some age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present as can be seen on the pictures). I deem this a superb occasion to acquire an attractive and most certainly desirable NCO-type, 'Artillerie'- ie. 'Waffenschule'-related shoulderstrap-pair that is accordingly priced!
