Neat - albeit single! - pre- (ie. early-war-) period- (ie. 'M36/M40'-pattern) 'cyphered' and rounded-styled WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for an: 'Unteroffizier u. Mitglied des Infanterie-Regiments 15'

This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single albeit nevertheless scarcely encountered! - pre- (ie. early-war-) period- (ie. 'M36/M40'-pattern) 'cyphered' and rounded-styled, WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstrap as piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier u. Mitglied des Infanterie-Regiments 15' (or: junior-sergeant who served within the infantry-regiment, numbered: '15') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn-), condition. The neat strap - which is of the pre- (ie. early-) war-period type - has the (faded) darker-green-coloured and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck' and does show as stated above the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour and/or woolen-type piping attached. The shoulderstrap shows the (typical) silverish-toned (early- ie. dotted-pattern) NCO-braid attached and comes mounted onto its functional tongue (it measures approximately 11,5 cms. in length as more often). It does show the neatly machine-embroidered and white-coloured '1'- and/or '5'-cyphers (ie. numerals or: 'Ziffern') which are both executed in so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei' as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap shows some clear age, wear and or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). It should noted that these neatly 'cyphered', 'Infanterie'-related shoulderstraps can easily be graded 'rare': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
