This is an attractive - fully matching and actually not that easily encountered! - typical non-'cyphered'- (somewhat 'simplified' and I deem typical later-war-period- (ie. 'last ditch'-) pattern pair of enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps as was specifically intended for usage onto the field-grey coloured navy-style tunics by a: 'Soldat eines Küsten-Artillerie-Abteilungs' (or: simple soldier who served within a naval coastal-artillery unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The straps - which are fully 'text-book' in all facets - measure approximately 11,3 cms. in length (and have a width of 5,5 cms. as usually seen) have the field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues. The straps - which are somewhat 'simplified' and that have no additional 'backing' - are void of the sometimes encountered interwoven so-called: 'winged-shell-anchor'-cyphers or: 'Ziffern' and were intended for a soldier holding the rank of simple: 'Soldat o. Maat'. The straps - shows some minimal age, wear and/or staining but are totally void of any damage (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that ALL 'Küstenartillerie' insignia-pieces are actually quite hard to encounter which grades them easily as 'scarce'. Simply an attractive, unusually non-'cyphered', later-war-period and somewhat 'simplified' naval EM-type shoulderstrap-pair that was intended for usage on the field-grey-coloured 'Küsten-Artillerie'-attire!
