Superb - and minimally used- ie. once-cap-attached - silver-toned- and/or typical aluminium-based, WH (Luftwaffe) visor- (ie. This is an attractive - and just minimally used- ie. once-cap-attached - silver-toned- and/or typical aluminium-based, WH (Luftwaffe) visor- (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) cap-eagle (being a non-maker-marked- and/or 'down-tailed'-modelled exampl) that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. just minimally used- ie. once cap-attached-), condition. These specific (eraly modelled!) cap-eagles were intended for usage on the various WH (Luftwaffe) visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) and saw usage throughout the war. The eagle has truly great pronounced detail and retains both its (copper-based) pins ie. prongs in place (which were once bent but that are of course still fully functional). The neat piece which is minimally-converse-shaped has an approximate 'wingspan' of 5,6 cms. and has a typical, bright-silverish- and/or: minimally tarnished 'age-patina' (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that excellent copies of this specific cap-eagle do exist: this is naturally a fine and 100% genuine example that originates from a private household in Germany. Simply a nice opportunity to acquire an attractive and early-pattern WH (Luftwaffe) visor- (ie. 'Schirmmützen'-) cap-eagle: it will be very hard to upgrade this attractive- and/or fully untouched example!
