This is a very attractive - fully matching and (I deem) quite early-war- ie. evt. mid-war-period! - pair of standard-issued (ie. non 'privately-purchased'- or tailor-made) pattern, WH (Heeres) early- ie. mid-war period- (ie. 'M41'- ie. 'M43'-pattern) neatly 'cyphered', NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel des Kavallerie- o. Reiter-Regiments 15' (or: sergeant first-class who served within the 15th cavalry regiment) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, field-grey-coloured and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks' and that measure approximately 11 cms. in length each - show the neat golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). They come naturally mounted onto their period (and regular-shaped) tongues attached and come both in a very nice- (ie. fully 'text-book') condition overall (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps show a (matching, and zinc-based) pair of '1'- and/or: '5'cyphers (ie. numerals or: 'Ziffern') and four (fully matching, smaller-sized and also zinc-based) pips period-attached (as can be seen on the pictures). These type of shoulderstraps are of the fairly early-war-period pattern straps and were worn in the period around 1941 (and were 'worn-out' even during the rest of the war). The pair - that originated from my private shoulderstrap-collection - only shows moderate wear and/or age and is just nicely preserved over the years (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire a neat NCO-type, 'Kavallerie'-related Heeres-shoulderstrap-pair for a justified price!
