Attractive - and virtually mint- ie. unissued! - 'BeVo'-type armshield entitled: 'Slowakei' (being a piece that was intended for a volunteer who served within the: 'Deutsche Wehrmacht' ie. within the: 'Slowakisches Legion')

This is an attractive - and truly very rarely encountered! - example of a colourful, 'BeVo'-woven armshield entitled: 'Slowakei' (in German language) as was specifically intended for usage by the Slovakian volunteers who served within the pro-German Axis-forces and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'- and/or simply never tunic-attached-), condition. The shield is truly one of the more rarely encountered 'BeVo'-woven shields of the colourful series. The exact purpose of these armshields is not known to date: it is, however, also stated in certain publications that they were intended for foreign staff-members (ie. factory-workers) that served within the 'OT' (ie. 'Organisation Todt'). The example on offer here comes in an overall very nice- (ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' condition and comes as 'straightly cut-off the role': it does show, however, some minimal storage-age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). It is naturally very different from the various copies that are nowadays in existance. It should be noted that I have seen these shields being offered for much more than my asking-price. Simply a very attractive - and truly rarely encountered! - Eastern-European volunteer arm-shield that is I deem accordingly priced!
