Superb - truly worn and/or tunic-removed! - matching pair of officers'-pattern, Waffen-SS collar-patches (ie. This is a truly very attractive - and actually rarely seen albeit clearly used- and/or carefully tunic-removed - neatly hand-embroidered, Waffen-SS officers'-pattern collar-tab-set (ie. 'Kragenspiegelsatz für Führer der Waffen-SS') as was intended for usage by a junior-officer holding the rank of: 'Untersturmfüher' (ie. lieutnant) and that comes in an overall wonderful (and clearly used- ie. worn-), condition. The runic-tab is a typical, hand-embroidered example that is piped with greyish-silver-toned 'braid' and that shows the (shiny) runes on a black-coloured- and/or typical 'smooth-woolen'-based background. The used embroidery is very detailed and nicely executed: as such, it is a great example of the used craftmenship of the days. The equally constructed and executed rank-tab shows three (typical zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based- and smaller-sized) rank-pips attached denoting the rank of: 'Untersturmfüher der Waffen-SS' (ie. lieutnant). The pair - of which the Runes-tab still shows its period-attached 'RzM'-etiket - is nicely 'backed' with beige-coloured 'buckram'-based material and comes just tiny bit stained as found (simply caused by moderate wear and years of storage). This collar-set is a 100% text-book- (and as stated above) original set that originates from a US-veteran who 'liberated' it in 1945. It should be noted that these original Waffen-SS-related officers'-pattern collar-tabs-sets are almost impossible to find and can nowadays easily be graded 'very scarce'. I deem that this very attractive and just minimally used and tunic-removed 'Kragenspiegelsatz für Führer der Waffen-SS' is priced according to its unmistaken rarity and desirability!
