The attractive - and with certainty not that easily found! - WH (Heeres) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap does show the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or: typical 'silk-like'-type piping attached and measures approximately 12 cms. in length and is clearly of the simplified. so-called: 'last-ditch'- (ie. 'M44 o. M45'-) pattern. The shoulderstrap is constructed from the (typical) field-grey-toned, later-war-type wool and comes naturally mounted onto its functional tongue (which is constructed from a piece of field-grey-coloured wool aka Italian wool or: 'drap Orti' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The strap just shows some minimal age ie. wear and was clearly used and/or worn as such. It should be noted that these white-piped- (thus 'Infanterie'-related) and/or later-war period- (ie. 'simplified'- ie. 'M44- o. M45'-pattern-) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps are very desirable and can easily be graded 'scarce' even more so when they come in such a nicely preserved condition as the strap on offer here!
