Superb - matching and just moderately worn! - pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberst der Artillerie u. Mitglied der Kriegsschule Hannover'

This is a very attractive - fully matching and with certainty very rarely encountered! - pair of neatly 'cyphered', WH (Heeres) officers'-type shoulderboards as piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a high-ranked officer ie.: 'Oberst der Artillerie u. Mitglied der Kriegsschule Hannover' (or: full colonel of the artillery-troops who served within the war-school as was based in the town of Hannover) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem clearly used- ie. worn- and/or carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat shoulderboards - which are actually not that easily encountered and can easily be graded 'fairly rare' - are constructed in the smooth-type (ie. 'moleskin'-like) wool and are piped in the bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour (denoting an: 'Artillerie'-background of the officer who wore these). The boards - which have a length of approximately 11 cms. each - come mounted onto their functional tongues (as can be seen on the pictures). The boards have the 'silver-greyish'-coloured (ie. somewhat 'sub-dued'-) 'upperdecks' (something that - I deem - clearly identifies them as 'front-used' pair). The boards show some minimal age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). This pair shows a (fully matching, larger-sized- and/or bright-golden-toned) set of Gothic-styled- so-called: 'KS'-cyphers (ie, 'Ziffern'), smaller-sized- and equally-styled 'h'-cyphers and four (also equally styled) pips, period-attached: all eight devices show some minimal tarnish ie. wear but are simply very nicely preserved. The neat pair does just show some age, wear and/or staining but is void of any damage or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply a very attractive - and most certainly desirable! - WH high-ranked, officers'-pattern shoulderboard-pair that belonged to an: 'Oberst der Artillerie u. Mitglied der Kriegsschule Hannover': only the first such rare shoulderboard-pair I ever had on offer!
