Superb - and rarely encountered! - (I deem) officers'-pattern, RAD (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') so-called: trade- and/or special-career-insignia bearing the specialist-designation: 'V' (ie. 'Verwalter in Abteilungen')

This is an attractive - and actually rarely encountered! - (I deem) officers'-version of a so-called: RAD (ie. 'Reichsarbeitsdienst') special-career arm-insignia (or: 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen' aka: 'RAD-Funktionsabzeichen') as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Mitglied der Verwaltung' (or: administrative official) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem simply never worn- nor tunic-attached-), condition. These badges were worn on the lower left sleeve of the mustard-coloured (officers'-type) RAD-tunics and/or garments. The badge - which shows the silver-coloured 'V'-character - is neatly executed in so-called 'flat-wire'-pattern 'BeVo'-weave technique. The piece was never folded nor trimmed as to be expected (but does show some minimal fraying on both top and bottom). The badge is neatly maker-marked and displays the interwoven so-called: 'Ges.Gesch.'-designation as is more often found on RAD cloth badges- and/or insignia. This badge originates from a smaller collection of rarely seen RAD-related cloth-insignia I recently acquired for the web-site. It should be noted that all officers'-type 'RAD-Funktionsabzeichen' are quite rarely encountered: those intended for specialised functions such as the one offered here even more so!
