Attractive, police (ie. 'Polizei o. Gend.'-related-) armbadge (ie. arm-eagle) - being a scarcely encountered! - summer-tunic version, being a generic-styled piece that was intended for a member within one of the 'Polizei o. Gendarmerie'-regiments

The attractive - and fairly large-sized arm-badge ie. sized: 10 x 9 cms. - is executed on the (typical) summer-type 'Polizei'-type-cloth (aka 'grünmellierte Stoff') and is nicely fortified with a linnen border as per regulation. The piece - that shows some minimal age and/or staining - comes in an overall wonderful (and I deem just minimally used- ie. once-tunic-attached-) condition and retains great detail: the used machine-embroidery is simply stunning (as can be seen on the pictures). These unusal arm-eagles can also be encountered having an embroidered town-name above the eagle: this is a 'not-named'- ie. generic version that is void of such town-specification. This example shows an additional (bluish-toned) backing (as can be sen on the pictures). It should be noted that these neat 'grünmellierter Polizei Ärmeladler' can easily be graded 'very scarce'. Simply a nice and untouched example!
