Attractive - and truly used- ie. minimally damaged! - Waffen-SS EM- (ie. NCO-) pattern rank-collar-rank-tab ('Kragenspiegel') being a 'standard-issue'-pattern example as executed in black-coloured wool as was intended for usage by an: 'SS-Sturmmann'
This is an attractive - truly used- ie. minimally damaged and actually not that easily encountered! - Waffen-SS, enlisted-mens'- (ie. NCO-) pattern rank collar-rank-tab ('Kragenspiegel') being a 'standard-issued'-pattern example as executed in (smooth-type) black-coloured wool as was intended for usage by an: 'SS-Sturmmann' (ie. simple soldier) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used- and clearly once-tunic-removed-), condition. The tab shows the typical brownish-beige-coloured 'buckram'-based 'backing' as to be expected (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was with certainty once tunic-attached (by means of hand-stitching) and was period-removed: it still shows some stitching-remains ie. holes and shows a (partly loosened) piece of SS-rank-braid: moreover, does it show a horizontally placed tear (as can be seen on the pictures). Without doubt a nice and fairly scarcely seen Waffen-SS rank-collar-tab that comes in a truly used- and/or tunic-removed condition as was intended for usage by an: 'SS-Sturmmann' and that shows great character!
