The attractive - and carefully 'cut-out' of a shirt! - cloth-based- (ie. nicely machine-woven) sports-badge (ie. 'DRL-Reichssportabzeichen in Bronze') is of the version with swastika and is neatly woven in the so-called: 'BeVo'-weave-pattern: it was clearly used- (ie. once sport-shirt-attached!) that comes still mounted onto a piece of shirt as recently found. The badge measures 5 x 4 cms. and is woven in golden-yellow-coloured linnen on a black-coloured (and also linnen-based) background and was carefully machine-stitched onto a smaller piece of a period, linnen-based sport-shirt (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece just shows some minimal age and/or wear. The piece originates from a German private-household where it was found with a firmly attached (bronze-class) 'DRL-Sportabzeichen'-miniature (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and with certainty not that often found! - example of a: 'Reichssportabzeichen DRL in Bronze' that is I deem accordingly priced!
