Superb - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres) I deem mid- (ie. later-) war-period, NCO-type shoulderstrap (as was specifically used on the black-coloured 'wrap-around'-tunics!) as intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel eines Panzer-Regiments'
This is a very attractive - albeit regrettably single and just moderately used - WH (Heeres) I deem mid- (ie. later-) war-period- (and non-privately purchased!), NCO-type shoulderstrap as piped in the bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour (as was specifically used on the black-coloured 'wrap-around'-tunics) as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel eines Panzer-Regiments' (or: NCO ie. sergeant and tank crew-member) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The neat strap - which has the 'standard-type', black-coloured- and/or: woolen-based 'upperdeck' - measures 11,2 cms. in length and has the desirable, bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured- and/or: 'silk-like'-type piping, attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which is with certainty a 'standard-issued' example - comes mounted onto its on its functional tongue and just shows some moderate wear, age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap shows the (standard- ie. 'sub-dued'-pattern) bluish-grey-toned NCO-braid attached and does show a (regular-sized, zinc-based) pip period-attached denoting that the soldier who wore this was a: 'Feldwebel' who served within one of the: 'Panzer-Regimenter'. This particular shoulderstrap originated from a larger cloth- ie. 'cyphered' shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a neat - and actually scarcely found, NCO-type 'Panzer'-shoulderstrap that was worn - and clearly used by! - a: 'Feldwebel eines Panzer-Regiments': too bad that it is only a single specimen!
