Attractive - and fully matching! - pair of WH (Heeres) early-war-period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern and rounded-styled) 'cyphered' NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for a: 'Soldat des Sanitäts-Abts. 27' (part of the: '27. Inf.-Div.)
This is an attractive - fully matching and with certainty not that easily found! - pair of (I deem) 'tailor-made'- (ie. 'privately-purchased') pattern, neatly 'cyphered' WH (Heeres) early-war period- (ie. 'M36'- ie. 'M40'-pattern and/or: rounded-styled) NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Soldat des Sanitäts-Abteilungs 27' (part of the: '27. Infanterie-Division') (or: junior-sergeant ie. mecial-orderly who served within the army-medial unit, numbered: '27') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured and/or typical 'smooth woolen'- based 'upperdecks' and that measure approximately 11,8 cms. in length each - show the neat darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured and/or typical woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps never had any tongues attached and were most certainly intended (and used!) as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern: they come both in a very nice- (ie. fully 'text-book') condition overall (as can be seen on the pictures). Moreover, do they show the neat, darker-blue- (ie. 'blauer'-) coloured neatly machine-stitched, so-called: '2'- and/or: '7'-numerals (ie. cyphers or: 'Ziffern') and the silver-toned NCO-braid attached (as to be expected). The neat pair only shows moderate wear and/or age but is, nevertheless, still nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). I deem this an excellent occasion to acquire a neat NCO-type, 'cyphered', 'Sanitäter'-related shoulderstrap-pair for a justified price!
