This is an attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless scarcely seen! - WH (Heeres), I deem early-war-period- (ie. 'M36'- ie.: 'M40'-model- ie. rounded-style-) 'cyphered', enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstrap as piped in the white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied des Wehrkreis VI' (or: infantry-soldier who served within the designated area or district (ie. 'Wehrkreis'), numbered: '6' having as HQ the town of Münster) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat strap - which has the 'standard'-pattern- and/or darker-green-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdeck' - shows the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured- and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap - which measures approximately 11,8 cms. in length each - comes with its period tongue attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The strap shows the nicely machine-embroidered, Gothic-styled, 'W'-cypher and/or: Roman-styled: 'VI'-numerals (naturally also executed in white-coloured linnen ie. wool). The strap shows - as stated above - only moderate usage ie. wear (just some moderate age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present). Moreover, does it show some minimal glue-remains on its back simply caused by having been glued into an album or scrapbook once. In any case is this a nice occasion to acquire a very attractive and desirable EM-type, 'Infanterie'-related 'Wehrkreis'-shoulderstrap: too bad that it is only a single specimen!
