I recently found two - fully identical and actually scarcely encountered! - examples of the WH (Kriegsmarine) 'tropical-issued' cocarde as was used on the tropical side- (and/or: 'M41'-type-) caps as executed in the neat machine-embroidered pattern onto a light-yellowish-brown (ie. tan-) coloured background and that come both in a never used- (nor folded!) ie. 'virtually mint', condition. I found two identical pieces that came just 'cut-out of a sheet' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The cocardes just show some minimal age and/or slight staining (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be mentioned that these tropical naval cocardes (of the first pattern) as executed in the machine-embroidered pattern rank amongst the more difficult to obtain cocardes of the period. My asking-price is naturally intended for a single specimen. Simply one of those insignia-pieces that is almost impossible to find if needed!
