Superb - and rarely found! - WH (Luftwaffe) 'tropical-pattern' belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Uffz. u. Mannschaften der LW') being a maker- (ie. 'N.&H. - 1942'-) marked- and/or typical olive-greenish- ie. yellow-coloured example

The attractive - moderately used- and/or worn but nevertheless rarely found! - WH (Luftwaffe) 'tropical-pattern' belt-buckle (ie. 'Koppelschloss für Unteroffiziere u. Mannschaften der Luftwaffe') shows the (typical) olive-greenish- (ie. yellow-tan-) coloured, sprayed surface and does show the impressed: 'N.&H.'- (ie. 'Noelle & Hueck'-) logo and/or date: '1942' on its inside (as can be seen on the pictures). The buckle trully retains most of its period-applied paint but does show some obvious age, wear and/or (minimal) rust-staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The buckle - which still retains pronounced detail as to be expected - orginates from an older belt-buckle-collection that was compiled over many years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. The piece comes naturally mounted onto its leather-based tab that shows an impressed (and typical oval-shaped) makers-designation-stamp that also reads: 'Noelle u. Hueck - Lüdenscheid' and that shows the impressed years'-designation: '1942' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The leather-based tab does show some age and/or wear: it is, however, fully souple and firmly attached to the buckle. I deem that I have priced this superb WH (Luftwaffe) 'tropical-pattern' belt-buckle according to its unmistaken rarity and/or desirability!
