The truly very detailed - and typical shield-shaped - 'N.S.B.O.'- (ie. 'D.A.F.'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in (somewhat darkened) greyish-silver-toned, tin-based metal (ie. 'Eisenblech') and depicts a typical 'Reichsbahn'-device (and 'N.S.B.O.'- ie. 'D.A.F.'-devices) coupled with the text: 'Dank den Eisenbahner an den Führer - Essen 15.4.1934' and was as such intended for a specific railways-related gathering held in the town of Essen. The badge - that shows some normal wear and/or moderate age - comes naturally mounted on its functional pin-/catch set-up and has (I deem) never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures) but is still very detailed and/or pronounced. The 'tinnie' retains all of its silver-coloured finish and is just minimally tarnished. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive (and unusually seen!) 'N.S.B.O.'- (ie. 'D.A.F.'-) related so-called: 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' for an interesting price!
