Neat, so-called: N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' (ie. 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen'-) being a non-maker-marked- and darkened bronze-toned example showing the text: 'Sonnenwende - Hannover - 21.6.1934'
This is an attractive - and typically 'hollow'-styled and not that easily found! - fairly early-period, so-called: N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' (ie. 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen') being a non-maker-marked- and/or darkened bronze toned- (ie. I deem copper-toned- ie. 'Eisenblech'-based) example showing the text: 'Sonnenwende - Hannover - 21.6.1934' and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit issued- ie. I deem just moderately worn-), condition. The circular-shaped piece is executed in typical, golden-bronze-coloured metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice, minimally darkened- ie. tarnished-, age-patina and holds most (ie. all!) of its period-apllied finish). The piece comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch set-up and shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a sun-burst illustration and swastika coupled with the text: 'Sonnenwende - Hannover - 21.6.1934'. It should be noted that all 'N.S.D.A.P.-related tinnies that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'towns'-) level (such as the piece on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'scarce'. Simply a nice occasion to acquire an attractive - and unusally found! - N.S.D.A.P.-related, so-called: 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' for an interesting price!
